Body Brilliant Detailing Terms Of Service, Conditions & Privacy Policy

SECTION 1- WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase our services, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

SECTION 2- CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4- Pricing Terms, Conditions, and Payment

This is an estimation of work to be completed by a walk-around evaluation and is not binding if vehicle condition changes prior to scheduled appointment, or if more than 15 days have elapsed from the date of the estimate. A copy of the evaluation will be provided to the customer.

An estimate may also change based on a more detailed examination immediately prior to the start of detailing and will be discussed with the customer prior to beginning work and the estimated time to complete the work. Body Brilliant Detailing reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked detailing. All vehicles are cleaned at the customer’s own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes. This estimate is deemed completed and Invoiced when signed below by customer and the actual final price has been completed in the total charged. The Customer’s signature on our pre-inspection acknowledges the damage identified and discovered during the inspection prior to detailing as pre-existing and will not hold Body Brilliant Detailing or its employees liable. Prices do not include any local and/or state taxes that apply to Body Brilliant Detailing services. 

 

Our minimum call out charge is $125. Body Brilliant Detailing reserve the right to charge an hourly rate of $95 (or proportion thereof) for any work that is not within the boundaries of the booking. A minimum 20% surcharge will be applied to all jobs that involve excessive pet hair, urine, vomit, blood, feces, or other hazardous materials. Our prices are based on detailing type, location, type of car, color, and condition of the vehicle. Body Brilliant Detailing reserves the right to charge each vehicle per its condition, the type of vehicle and the customer location. Body Brilliant Detailing reserves the right to amend any price during the detailing should it differ from the original estimate. Prices on Bodybrilliantdetailing.com do not include any local and/or state taxes that apply to services. 

 

Full Payment is expected upon completion of work by either Cash, Check, Credit or Debit card unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing ahead of time. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Our credit/debit transactions are processed through stripe.com For more insight, you may also want to read Stripe’s Terms of Service here or Privacy Statement here. (hyperlink “here” with https://stripe.com/privacy-shield-policy#privacy-shield-principles).  It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. For repeat/long-term customers we do offer monthly, semi-annual, and annual billing. Upon receipt of an invoice from Body Brilliant Detailing the terms for this billing type is “Net 7 days”. On some services offered by Body Brilliant Detailing, we require a deposit before booking an appointment.

When you click on links on our website or blog, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements and policy.

SECTION 6- SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

SECTION 7- CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

SECTION 8- REMOVE PERSONAL ITEMS

Customers should remove all personal belongings, money and other significant or valuable items from their vehicle prior to any type of detailing.

Although we will take the utmost care with anything left inside your vehicle, we cannot be held responsible for any personal items left behind.

Body Brilliant Detailing will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property including the vehicle being serviced, any belongings contained inside of the vehicle or to the location of service. Assure that your vehicle is being serviced in a lawful and safe area and if you feel otherwise please communicate your concerns with the staff at Body Brilliant Detailing.

SECTION 9- CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We require 24 hour’s notice to cancel any booking/for detailing service. Failure to provide 24 hours’ notice of cancellation will result in a minimum charge of 25% of the service cost. Same day appointments that are canceled will incur a charge of 25% of the service cost. Body Brilliant Detailing reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible will let the customer know. Body Brilliant Detailing reserves the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance with weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company. Failure to be present at the time and location of the ordered service will result in the full value of the service being charged unless previously arranged that no one will be present.

SECTION 10- SERVICE GUARANTEE

If there is probable and clear cause that we at Body Brilliant Detailing did not fulfill the package as ordered or there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, we will at our cost refund or redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service. Cleaning or repairing the vehicle personally or professionally after the initial service without authorization from Body Brilliant Detailing voids our Service Guarantee. Redo’s, refunds, or reimbursements will not be made after any unauthorized cleaning or repairs. Failure to disclose at the time of booking any conditional issues that involve heavy stains, foul odors, human or animal biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, chemical overspray or any other hazardous materials voids our service guarantee. No refunds, redo’s, or any additional work will be performed outside of the original package or estimate.

Any claims must be filed within 48 hours of the completion of the service by phone, email (info@bodybrilliantdetailing.com), or submitting a request online. Photos of the area must be emailed to info@bodybrilliantdetailing.com within 24 hours of the claim being made.

SECTION 11- GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift Certificates can only be used once per vehicle, per service, they cannot be combined or redeemed with additional promotions, Gift certificates reflect a cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Prices for services may adjust due to seasonality, location, inflation, or demand. Additional charges may apply to the redeemer if they choose a package that exceeds the cash value of their gift certificate. Any balances for services ordered are due at time of service and do not include additional services, tax, or gratuity. After 1 year of non-use, the gift certificate is non-refundable.

Any promotional values or discounts expire after 1 year from the time of purchase.

SECTION 12- COMMUNICATIONS

Body Brilliant Detailing will either send you SMS text messages, email, or phone call to confirm your service request, provide information about the estimated time of arrival.

Body Brilliant Detailing conducts customer satisfaction survey’s after the job is completed. Depending on your mobile phone service, you may incur costs from these SMS text messages from your mobile phone service provider. The staff at Body Brilliant Detailing may call you directly to schedule your service or conduct a customer satisfaction survey. In the event of a canceled request, we may call you to inquire about your reasons for canceling. All inbound and outbound customer service calls may be recorded for quality assurance.
